These were a set of images taken in the autumn in England when the Grey Seals come to land to give birth, and also to mate which can give rise to various tensions. Also the timing of this often coincides with some of our worst British weather, this was no exception while I was there, despite the moments of sunshine. The temperature was very cold and there was a a biting wind from the north with spells of snow showers. These are some of my favourite images and capture some of the various antics these seals were getting up to.
The images will change every five seconds automatically as a slideshow (the first image may not upload straight away).
There are many places to see Grey Seals across the British Isles, and Donna Nook is one such place to visit during November and December. It's best to arrive early as it gets very busy.
